Medieval Monday - Excerpt 4 - Eliza Knight

 

Welcome back to Medieval Monday. Today is our fourth excerpt. I delighted to host Eliza Knight today. Her Stolen Bride series is an awesome read. This story, The Highlander’s Reward has Lady Arbella in a predicament and in order for guarantee her safety, the best her protector can do is marry her. Excerpt 4 – The Highlander’s Reward

He watched her throat constrict as she swallowed. The sudden urge to dip low and kiss her there was overwhelming. Running his tongue over the back of his teeth, his gaze caught on the column of her throat. Slowly his eyes traveled upward to her mouth. Arbella bit her plush lower lip, staring at him with a mixture of fear and desire.

The Highlander’s Reward
